Day 2,703 —Breathe— with my PICTURE of a TRAIN

I started listening to this book Breathe today. It is all about how much an impact nose breathing v. mouth breathing has. I have had my own issues with breathing through the years, but largely due to meditation I have been able to at least breathe more through my nose if not exclusively, and I find I have started to nose breathe instinctively if I feel myself ramping up. I assumed the positive effect probably had something to do with slowing down my breathing. 

I have read enough books that tell me, “This one thing _____ is going to fix every issue you have had. It will help you sleep, keep you alive longer, cause you to have less stress, and make you smell better.” 

I don’t doubt that breathing through your nose does have a lot of health benefits; it is just interesting to think about all the different ideas that I have heard over the years that are supposed to fix all these exact same problems, and part of me things everyone is partially right, just wrong that it is one thing that can fix all those issues.
