Day 4,261—Whiplash from the Cold II: JOO!—
I took this picture of whatever was over the highway. I couldn’t tell what it was trying to say. It looked like “!JOO!”
Yesterday I was wearing shorts; today I was head to toe in winter clothes, from my warm socks to my shirt with a hood. I tried to run the quickest way to that street in Webster, which I was thinking about. I made it there in a couple of miles, but I ended up doing more than I had planned and got back late; however, it was worth it. I even saw a group of runners out by the train tracks. When I first saw their lights, I thought I must be seeing the reflection of the gate for the train tracks, but there were at least 4 of them standing around before they started out. I heard them say something like,
“Let’s go.”
And then one of them looked over to me and said, “Good morning!” I reciprocated the greeting and tried to go a little faster, knowing I would be later than I meant to be today, but how can I complain? Today is the last day until break! And I am feeling pretty good; even my leg isn’t bothering me as much. And right now I am planning on seeing my favorite holiday movie tonight!
