Day 4,262—Hiding My Face behind these Huge Red Sunglasses—

I got up late because I went to see a movie last night. Istarted my run only after I tried to set up the Stryd pod, which took longer than I thought it would, and in the end I didn’t get the data screen switched over, so it didn’t change my run at all except they asked me to remove all my standard data screens I have been using forever, which is confusing because I could still have those data screens on a different screen, so I don’t know why they told me I need to remove them. It's as if the Stryd Pod wants to control the information I have access to when I am running. Stryd, you cannot stop me from accessing my data!

I am excited to see whatever the difference is when I run tomorrow. This run was a lot of fun, and I used it as an excuse to run on the new sidewalk that is almost done on Watson. I also like running down Sappington, and I love running that stretch of Lockwood. When I went by Webster, I realized that I was only going to get 10 miles in, which is fine, but I figured I would run a little more, so I added almost two, but when I get so much closer to home, it is hard to suddenly add miles. It is always easier to just be physically farther away, so I don’t have a choice but to run more. I also wore a new pair of sunglasses today that were like my current favorite black pair, except these are red and have mirror lenses. They are ridiculously huge glasses, and I must look silly, but I feel somehow invincible and hidden. Maybe because they take up almost half my face?
