Day 4,269—a Dense Fog—

It was Christmas for Sarah’s family today, so we went to her brother’s house. I had to get up at a decent time just to get this run in so we could be there before 9 a.m. I went to the track again for a minute. I didn’t run there, but I wanted to see if they kept the gates open on the weekend. They did, and the fog looked especially noticeable in the football stadium.

I took a picture, but then reflected on how difficult it was to capture the fog in a photograph. I thought the most noticeable fog was with the backdrop of the highway. I ran more than I thought I would, but at the same time, I have been wondering if I should take some real time off until 2026. Why not just run a mile a day for the rest of the year? I need to recover, but I also still like running more than almost anything else I do for fun.
