Day 4,500—a Slow 20—
Start time: 11:13 a.m.
Weather: Mid 80s wind 6.0 mi/h, Humidity 74%
I struggled to get up this morning and then felt awful. I considered taking a bath before I went for a run but ultimately just took forever to leave my house. I decided to run this way. I haven’t gone towards old Fenton in a while. I stopped at a gas station about 4.5 miles from home, and it became my first hydration spot. I don’t like running on the road to get to the park, but I did it, and there weren’t that many cars, and before I knew it, I was surrounded by trees. I went down by the river to take some pictures and noticed how much the trees were consuming the bench.
I went across the river and into old Fenton. I saw an old tractor and a van with solar panels on top. I noticed the Mexican and sushi place and a place that sells feed. I got some water at the park and turned around after a little over 10 miles. I walked up some of the hills on the way back. It was pretty, and maybe I will feel better tomorrow. There is so much to think about when it comes to the new school year, but not a lot of concrete things I can do.
